IN THE SPRING OF 2007 it became apparent that Strict Leather/Extreme Restraints (they are the same people) stole our designs, sent our actual goods to various Asian manufacturers to see who could "knock them off" the cheapest.

Are you sure you are getting what you paid for?

XRLLC and Extreme Restraints no longer carry our fine leather goods (if you see the words Exteme Restraints embossed into the strap of an item, then that item came from our studio in Canada.) Our mutually beneficial relationship of many years is over. XR and its management (without our knowledge or consent) sent our designs that up until very recently they purchased exclusively from us, to many manufacturers in SouthEast Asia to be knocked off and copied. XR is now selling inexpensive low quality imitations of the quality goods we used to private label for them. Our premium leather products are what they built their reputation on.

Interestingly enough, XR and Strict Leather are still using many actual photos and product reviews of our leather goods to sell their Asian made goods. We asked politely if they could please remove the pictures so that they are not intentionally misleading their customers. They declined, stating that "The images we have are representive to the items we are selling".

Years ago, in the words of the owner of XRLLC "Thanks to Sinvention we now truelly have extreme restraints". Sadly, this is no longer the case for them. For all and any other North American or European manufacturers that supply XR, BEWARE!!!, we were told by the CEO of XR and Strict Leather that they will be doing the same thing with many of their other best selling products. Believe what is written here, we don't want the same thing to happen to you!

If you wish to purchase the actual items originally reviewed and featured on Extreme Restraints please feel free to BUY DIRECT from the manufacturer (Sinvention) or a Certified Reseller. There is a big difference in the quality of goods you will receive from us here at Sinvention. We hand finish every item, we use only high quality North American and European Leathers, we use solid steel black rivets.

If you see sharp edges, thin plastic like leather or silver 'swat with a hammer" soft metal rivets then you are NOT looking at one of our high end products.

These items are now being sold by XR as Strict Leather "Gear you can count on!". Don't be fooled. In our opinion, Extreme Restraints is the new WalMart of low quality, knock off, Asian made bondage gear!

If you or your neighbor are out of work, it is because of companies like this that steal our ideas then give them to foreign plagiarists. We actually pay our employees a fair wage and also provide them with benefits. WE DO NOT USE FOREIGN LABOR!

ALSO, If you see any of our pictures being used on other websites, please check to ensure they are CERTIFIED resellers of our goods. We have also found a number of these same manufacturers from Asia using our pictures to sell their inferior knocked off Sinvention goods on Ebay and rogue American and European websites.
